This has been a great year for birdwatching at our feeder. The Scrub Jays and Cedar Waxwings were new additions this year. We've eagerly anticipated the return of the Evening Grosbeaks each Spring, and this year they stayed around into the summer. We've seen more of the Red-Winged Blackbirds this year than we have in the past, and the Varied Thrush (not pictured) keeps returning for our yummy seeds. But what is the little yellow guy with the striped head? A Townsend's Warbler perhaps? We may have
to dig a little deeper, but that's my best guess for now.
