Cita, our green-cheeked conure, can be pretty annoying when he squawks endlessly. But he (yes. . . our boy bird has a girlie name) also has his funny moments. Here he's perched on the neck of my t-shirt. This is one of those endearing traits that redeems him. 
That's adorable! You're lucky to have a bird that you can hold. Karen's parakeet freaks out if anyone tries to touch him, and Karen spends a long time trying to hand-tame him too.
